On Friday 24th July, Old Berkhamstedians Emma Oakley, Emma Savage and Sofia Wise will commence their campaign, with England Lacrosse, to win the World Lacrosse Women's Championship in Japan. The Old Berkhamstedians wish them, and the whole England team the very best of luck as watch with eager anticipation.

The 16 teams were drawn into four groups for pool play, which will take place over 5 days. Eight teams will advance to the playoffs ahead of the semi-finals and medal round. All teams earned their places in the championships through qualifiers and the draw accounted for the current rankings of the field and Continental Federation balance.

The championship will take place at two venues in Tokyo, with Oi Stadium hosting eight days of competition at up to six games per day, and Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium hosting the semifinals and medal round.

England, in Pool C, will face Argentina, Puerto Rico and Scotland with their pool fixtures scheduled as follows:

Saturday 25th July - England v Puerto Rico - 3.30 pm

Monday 27th July - England v Scotland - 3.30 pm

Tuesday 28th July -  England v Argentina - 9.00 am

Quarter Finals - Wednesday 29th July

Semi Finals - Friday 31st July

Medal Games - Sunday 2nd August.
