On Sunday 23rd June we were joined, on a beautiful sunny day at Berkhamsted Golf Club, by over 90 Old Berkhamstedians who spanned the leaving era of 1973 - 1984, for their 40 - 50 year reunion.

The afternoon began with drinks and chat, was followed by a welcome speech by former OB President Brigitta Case after which a group photo was taken, a mammoth task, as it is never easy to get 90 people to stand still in the same place for long without them spotting someone else they want to go and say hello to !!!

The fantastic setting allowed plenty of space for attendees to catch up, enjoy drinks and a buffet and peruse year books, house books and copies of School publications from their time at school, which always then lead to reminiscences of time at school and the characters who helped form their younger years.

Many had not seen each other since their last day at school, but the general feeling as they left to go home, was that the event needed to become a regular one in the OB calendar.
