Ishaan Bhimjiyani, an old student at Berkhamsted School, started creating content in 2020 via the well-known platform TikTok. His content focused on education; specifically French, having been inspired by Dr Startin. He is a famous influencer, entrepreneur and public speaker who has appeared in the Financial Times, Evening Standard and BBC News. Ishaan has decided not to go to university. Instead, he is moving to Dubai to fulfil his entrepreneurial dreams.

Time at Berkhamsted

Ishaan joined Berkhamsted School in Year 9, welcomed into Bees House. He was a polite boy, an aspiring academic excelling in Latin, French and Biology. He wasn't really part of the 'popular group,' but he still had a close-knit group of friends which he stood by through his time at the school. In Year 10 (due to the pandemic), Ishaan started to post on TikTok. Little did he know that this would contribute to his success today. He documented his life during the pandemic, showcasing methods he used to motivate himself through exams season. At this point, he launched his channel, @gcsefrench, where he helped other students with French GCSE (whilst he was revising for it too). He gained over 60,000 followers on the platform and built a tutoring agency through this. This was a massive success whilst he was at Berkhamsted since over 3,000 students paid to attend his webinars where he taught. However, he knew that he wouldn't be studying GCSE French forever, so he changed his profile name to @revishaan (revision/Ishaan), contributing to his fame. He decided to switch his content, focusing more on documenting his life as a student and showcasing his travels and school life.

Creating a Brand: From Influencer to Entrepreneur

After switching his account name to @revishaan and broadening the scope of his content, Ishaan Bhimjiyani realised that he had the potential to create something more than just viral videos and online fame. He saw an opportunity to turn his personal brand into a business empire. With a keen eye for marketing and a passion for helping others succeed, Ishaan set out to establish his own marketing agency.

Post Berkhamsted Life

In 2022, at the age of 17, Ishaan founded Tap Lab, a marketing agency that represents multiple influencers and helps them collaborate with brands to create income-generating partnerships. With his deep understanding of social media platforms and a knack for connecting people, Ishaan quickly gained recognition as a rising star in the industry. Through Tap Lab, he provided a platform for influencers to monetize their online presence and facilitated fruitful collaborations with various brands.

The success of Tap Lab has been nothing short of extraordinary. Within its first year of operation (well not even a year), the agency earned over £170,000, a remarkable achievement for a young entrepreneur who was still in the early stages of his career. Ishaan's ability to spot emerging trends, identify untapped markets, and build meaningful relationships with influencers and brands alike contributed to his rapid growth and recognition.

Post School Life

While his peers were preparing to embark on their university journeys, Ishaan boldly decided to continue pursuing his entrepreneurial ventures instead. Leaving Berkhamsted School after completing his A-levels, he enrolled at Haberdashers Sixth Form to further his studies while managing his growing business. Balancing academics with the demands of running a successful marketing agency was no easy task, but Ishaan's unwavering determination and commitment allowed him to thrive in both areas.

Now, at the age of 18, Ishaan is ready to take his entrepreneurial journey to new heights. He has made the decision to move to Dubai, a global hub for business and innovation, where he plans to expand his client base and tap into the thriving influencer marketing scene. With his exceptional track record and proven expertise, Ishaan is poised to impact the industry significantly.

By not attending university, Ishaan has chosen an unconventional path that many would deem risky. However, his achievements thus far testify to his vision, tenacity, and entrepreneurial spirit. Instead of following a traditional education route, Ishaan opted to gain practical experience and build his own empire from the ground up.
