OB Lacrosse Players -  European Championships!!!

This summer saw the England Lacrosse team head to Braga, Portugal between 10th – 20th July to take part in the 2024 ELF European Women’s Lacrosse Championships, coming away from the tournament as Champions !!!

We are delighted to announce the following Old Berkhamstedians were selected within the 22 player squad for the tournament which also functions as the official European qualifying event for the 2026 Women’s World Championships in Japan.

Emily Gray (2008 and former staff)  made her fourth Euros appearance whist Emma Oakley (2013) represented her country at a third European Championships.

Other OBs selected within the squad include: Emma Savage (2020) , Sofia Wise (2021) as well as Georgie Hurt (2007)  who is part of the coaching team.

Keen to be fully prepared, the OB players used the Knox – Johnston Sports Centre Astro in the last few weeks as part of their final preparations.
