Please join us for our reunion for any Old Girl who left Berkhamsted School for Girls at least 50 years ago – i.e. 1973 of before. This will take place on Sunday 25th June in the Nash Harris Building at the Girls’ School. Our last major reunion celebrated the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Girls’ School and it is hard to believe that this year is our 135th Anniversary. We are extremely grateful to the School for welcoming us on this special day.
I do hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us to mark this occasion but, most of all, I hope that you will enjoy meeting up with each other again. It would be lovely to see you. Whilst we have named 1973 as the year, we will be very flexible about anyone who left a few years later as we all knew people over a good spread of years.
The programme for the day is:
12 noon - Arrival and pre-lunch drink provided by The Old Berkhamstedians
12.45 p.m - Buffet lunch (If you would like us to reserve a table of 8 or 10 for your group, please indicate on the reply form)
From 2 p.m - Tours of the School – optional
3.15 p.m - Tea and Cake
All partners, families and friends are most welcome and, if you know any Old Girls who may not have seen this invitation, do encourage them to come too. There are many with whom we have lost touch so they may not be aware of the event. Please help spread the word.
The cost for the day will be £25 per person. You can either pay by cheque or you can pay online, all payment and event details are at the top of the booking form, please CLICK HERE to sign up. All replies will also be referred to me as the Co-ordinator of the event.
Do come if you possibly can – if you wish to discuss anything relating to the day, please contact me at sue.wolstenholme@btinternet.com
With very best wishes,
Sue Wolstenholme, OBE,
On behalf of The Old Berkhamstedians
