Are you available to help celebrate Berkhamsted Cricket Club’s 150th Anniversary in 2025 ?
In 2025, Berkhamsted Cricket Club will be 150 years old and plans to mark the anniversary by inviting all past and present players and their families to join in a ‘Grand Reunion’ day at their Kitchener’s Field ground in the town on Sunday 29th June 2025.
Inevitably there will be many former players and supporters with whom the Club has lost touch over the years. Given the very strong links between Berkhamsted School and Berkhamsted CC, this broadcast (with the kind support of the Old Berkhamstedians’ office team) to its global network of contacts is hoping to alert cricketers near and far who have played for BCC in the past and discover who would be interested in attending this reunion event.
It is advertised as “a special afternoon of celebration, reminiscences and cricket. There will be an all-day bar, a variety of food stalls available, coffee wagon and ice creams. It will be an occasion not to be missed and we are expecting to see many familiar faces, from across the years. As well as the special festivities, we will be hosting our Women’s XI against their League opponents on that date.
We will also be showing off our new Digital Archive, and invite you to view that and several exhibits of our Club’s most notable successes and some of our legendary players.”
If you and your family are potentially interested in attending on 29th June 2025, please reply to peterdudley67@gmail.com
Further details and a formal invitation will then be sent to you in due course.
