Tea Party to Celebrate Swifts 125 year Anniversary

Dear Former Members of Swifts House,

Swifts House would like to invite you to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of Swifts as, along with Bees, the first Day House at Berkhamsted School.

We will hold a Tea Party from 4.30pm to approx. 5.45pm in Grass Quad, outside the current Swifts House Room. There will be an opportunity to look at old photos and archive material, share stories and anecdotes, have tours of the school, as well as meeting current students and staff and some former House Masters and tutors.

Please pass on any photographs, or stories that you would like to share in advance. In conjunction with the school archives, we are looking to create an e-magazine to show the history of the House. Notably we would like information on House Masters and House Captains as this has not always been clearly recorded.

It may be that our mailing lists are incomplete, so do pass this to others who may be interested in attending. We will give further information closer to the time.
